My name is Kathryn Tafra and I live in Preston, in Melbourne's northern suburbs. I have an undergraduate degree in Languages and Applied Linguistics (Griffith University) and a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing (University of Melbourne). For several years I have worked, among other things, as a freelance and in-house editor and proofreader.

I have been a bookworm from my earliest days. I read voraciously as a kid, and as I grew up and bounced between different cities and jobs, the one thing that never changed was my love of language and the written word.

I have written reviews, stories, articles and love letters. I have written blogs, CVs, and a million assignments in various forms. I have even written a Masters thesis. And through all this reading and writing I discovered what I really love – editing.

It brings me so much joy to take a piece of writing, read between its lines, and make it the absolute best it can be.
